Art Paired is an in-door art fair featuring fine-craft, coupled with tastings of wine and distilled spirits. It’s a highly juried presentation that provides an opportunity to explore top-quality works in glass, metal, wood, clay, fiber, and other media, as well as to meet the talented artists who create them: artists from across the U.S., as well as the immediate region.
Two Art Paired presentations are planned for Fall 2016:
Art Paired, Franklin TN - Saturday, September 10 - Sunday September 11, 2016, in Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin, a 12 building dining, shopping, and entertainment complex listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Art Paired, Memphis TN - Saturday, September 17, from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday September 18, from 11am to 5pm, on the indoor tournament courts at the Racquet Club of Memphis, 5111 Sanderlin Avenue, in Memphis TN (38117).
Art Paired will showcase the work of 50 to 60 fine-craft artists selected by a stringent jury process from applications received through Zapplication.org.
All artists will be onsite to present and discuss their work (ArtWorks Foundation does not participate in any of the proceeds from the sale of art at this event).
The sampling of wines, bourbons, and other distilled spirits will add to the drawing power of this event to help generate awareness of the importance and value of fine-craft.
2-D work such as painting, drawing, & photography is also accepted.
